I originally created this blog to keep track of facts I come across in my straight, cis, WoC journey as a Women's and Gender Studies major, but these are sporadic. Instead, you'll find a mix of posts concerning feminism, race, gender, liberal politics, and overall social justice. When I have the time for it, I'll post facts and quotes from my books and my thoughts on feminist issues along with debunking feminist stereotypes, etc.
We DO need feminism today because it applies to more people than you think...and probably to you as well. Scroll down to see how. If you think stuff like women being expected to wear makeup all the time, women getting paid less than men, women and girls being sold into prostitution (yes, even now), etc. is crazy and wish things were different, guess what? You are, technically, a feminist.*I've identified as a feminist for years, but I still consider myself a novice in the field and try not to comment in reblogs unless I feel I know what I'm talking about. If I make any mistakes in judgment, please let me know. I do identify mostly as an ally, and try at all times to be a good one.*
